EdTech Tool Uses:The librarian and book club members wanted to celebrate Tech Day in our school library. Our book club members decided to promote their favourite books. They liked the idea of producing book trailers and they wanted to get as many students as possible to view them. The librarian divided the students into groups and each group produced a book trailer (a video promoting the book) and a poster which included the book cover of their favourite book. Using the Aurasma Studio, students linked the poster to the video making the book cover image as the trigger image. The posters were then placed in different locations in the school library. The school community downloaded the Aurasma App onto their mobile device (smart phone or tablet) and were able to look at the different book trailers (auras) by looking at the poster though the lens of their device. It certainly delivered the WOW factor.
