| EdTech Tool Uses: | DragOnTape allows you to create mashups or 'mixtapes' using YouTube videos and Soundcloud music/audio. Use the on-screen search box to search through YouTube and Soundcloud (or enter URL directly) and when you find what you're looking for just drag it onto the timeline ('tape'). You can then trim the video/audio if you wish, and add fade-in and fade-out. Give your Mixtape a title and description. then save it to your account (requires registration). You can choose to display your finished Mixtape in the public gallery (or not) and to unlock it for collaboration with other users. The finished 'tape' can be shared via social media (built in), via a direct link, or you can use the embed code to embed it into a blog, website, VLE page, etc. Mashups can be up to one hour in length. |
