| EdTech Tool Uses: | Groupboard is an online shared whiteboard (with the option to embed into a webpage using supplied code). Groupboard works on any browser which has HTML5 support (e.g: Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX) as well as iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android, and also has an app for IOS and Android from the respective app stores. You can also access Groupboard from within google hangouts. There is a 'chat' window for communication while whiteboard collaboration is happening. Groupboard also offers a 'persistent whiteboard' feature (contents remain after all users have logged off) and you can also print the 'board when finished. The free version allows for 5 users simultaneously per whiteboard. |
