| EdTech Tool Uses: | Instapaper is an online service and mobile app that enables you to save web pages, articles, videos, etc. that you encounter online and wish to read later. When reading articles on the web (on PC, tablet, laptop, smartphone, etc.) and come across one that you want to read later, simply click on the Instapaper bookmarklet that saves the text of the document into your Instapaper account. Instapaper syncs across devices so that the next time you open any of your devices you can access the saved article there. Articles can also be downloaded onto tablet or smartphone for offline reading (such as when you don't have internet access, or are on an airplane). You can also highlight text on pages. Instapaper is integrated into the majority of popular online services so that you can quickly export the page to your Instapaper account. It also has an 'email to' feature that allows you to forward content to your Instapaper account using a personalised email address. Instapaper has lots of great features and well worth exploring. |
