EdTech Tool Uses:Sched is an event (e.g. conference, public seminar, teachmeet, open days/nights, etc.) management and organisation tool. The interface makes it easy to set up (and edit later if necessary) and display your schedule in a nice clean format. Your event can be standalone via the Sched webiste or embedded into your website or Wordpress site. Attendees can create a personal agenda on the site or via the Sched mobile app. Presenter and attendee biographies can be set up by the conference manager or you can invite participants to add their own and you can then edit these if needs be. Attendees get a rich profile and can network ahead of time, and Sched also highlights friends and contacts who are attending. If you are an Eventbrite user, Sched integrates nicely with Eventbrite: after the user purchases their ticket, a Sched account is automatically created and they are instantly logged-in to your event page (see https://sched.org/eventbrite-sync for more info). The Sched mobile app allows for offline access by saving the schedule locally to the device and syncing whenever an internet connection is available and changes have been made (and it informs you of this).
