| EdTech Tool Uses: | Scoop It is an online facility to locate, curate and share web content. Users create 'topics' of their own choosing (which is basically a channel for a particular type of content). Once that is created, you can add articles to this topic from Scoop It itself (suggestions based on keywords and recommendations from other curators, etc.) or add articles of your own choosing (using the handy bookmarklet plugin for web browsers, or directly by adding a URL via the Scoop It site, or using the Scoop It mobile app, etc.). Add your own comments and contributions, and share via a number of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) or publish to blog, website, LMS page, etc. You can also subscribe to updates from other Scoop It users, which further adds to the social dimension of the site. A very useful curation and dissemination tool. |
