| EdTech Tool Uses: | Sakai is an open source Learning Management System (LMS) / Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that is free to download, modify, use and share. It includes many expected LMS features including document and resource distribution, gradebook, synchronous and asynchronous discussion facilities, assignment uploads and administration, wiki, granular user rights for different tools, etc. It also supports LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) for integration with dozens of external tools and is capable of exchanging data with Moodle, Blackboard, and Canvas via IMS Common Cartridge. |
